Hello, everyone!

Welcome to the first devlog for the interactive fiction Birthright Part 1: A Sheltering Tree. This is going to be covering some changes, new content, and hopes for the future.

Changes to the game page: I've clarified a couple of things, added more information like new trigger warnings for A Sheltering Tree. (As always, these are subject to change with the inclusion of future content and your feedback.)

Changes to game details: new pronoun options added to initial query. (xe/xem, ze/zir)

New content: This is a 5,000+ word update so anywhere between 15-20 minutes of added reading. Get to know a little of your past and its demons, stumble across a couple secrets, and as always, try to survive.

Future thoughts: I'm going to be head down in writing for a while but I do plan on running some Twitter polls regarding what you, my readers, would like to see added when it comes to art, portraits, etc. I look forward to your input!
